Walk, Bike and Roll to School

Plano ISD families are invited to participate in the National Walk, Bike and Roll to School Day, in conjunction with the North Central Texas Council of Governments!

This event encourages students, parents and staff to celebrate the joy of active commuting while building a sense of community and school spirit by promoting:

• Healthy habits
• A cleaner environment
• Safe routes to and from school

Participants are encouraged to begin their routes 30 minutes before the start of school. Suggested start times are:

7:10a.m. - Elementary Schools
7:55 a.m. - Middle Schools
8:30 a.m. - High Schools

Planned safety routes have been created for participants within a two-mile radius from each campus. Participants further out are encouraged to carpool, park near the two-mile radius and walk, bike or roll the remainder of the route.
